My journey with jewellery began at eight years old when my grandmother showed me her jewellery collection. Pieces were tenderly displayed in individual matchboxes lined with cotton wool and her eyes danced relaying the history of each piece.
Captivated by these thoughts I became seduced into making jewellery.
After graduating with a Diploma in Visual Arts/ Craft Design in 3D design and printmaking and receiving a QE 11 grant for emerging artists in the 1990's, my first solo show 'Fragile Hearts' opened in Christchurch paving the way for future shows through out New Zealand, Sydney, Rarotonga, Paris, New York, New Orleans, London and Munich.
Work has been purchased by both the Dowse and Auckland Museum with private commissions undertaken and discretely sent globally.
Designing the perfect piece for a special person is a rewarding process.
With over eighteen years experience many extraordinary objects have been created by either personal appointment or over the internet.
As I work with a variety of metals and source my precious stones solely through trusted merchants, an object price can be tailored to suit.
